Why did Shisui kill himself? Originally a teenager, he had a number of reasons. Most likely, he was hoping to end his life and achieve peace. However, as his death turned out to be the ultimate sacrifice, his actions were not completely justified.
Why Did Shisui Kill Himself? 4 Reasons why Shisui Committed Suicide
Shisui is one of the under rated Character of Naruto Shippuden, But to the fans of anime he was a lit. Although he was shown for only few episodes he was shown as a center of Itachi Uchiha Life.
He had a aim to protect the village along with Itachi, In his life he had done several A rank missions and also put efforts to save Itachi from the real truth of the village against Uchiha Clan.
So why did Shisui Kill himself after all the hardships for the village and Clan. Shisui knew about the tension between the village and clan. He tried every possible things to stop the Coup De tat to save the clan.
There are 3 possible reasons why a Shinobi Like Itachi would try to kill himself:
1. Shisui Was Unable To Use His Right Eye
The most obvious reason for his suicide is because he was unable to use his right eye. Then, Danzo stole his right eye, making him unable to use it. Because he had no vision in his right eye, Shisui could not continue to cast genjutsu with that eye. In addition to this, his suicide also explains why he did not help Itachi stop the coup and why he didn’t go to Hiruzen.
While it’s true that Shisui’s participation in the manga is a bit strange, it is worth noting that his underlying motivation is noble. While he sincerely wanted to save the entire clan, he also had a dark side. In fact, when Sasuke and Itachi were having an argument over who was stronger, Shisui placed Itachi in a position of great difficulty.
2. To Hide The Truth
The manipulation of Itachi by Danzo is lacking depth. When he tells Itachi that he must kill Sasuke if he refuses to help him, he is making it clear that he’ll do so. Shisui’s death was meant to hide the plans of Danzo, and without him, the whole village would have fallen into chaos.
He was targeted by Danzo because of his eyes, but it is not clear why he chose suicide. Danzo then had his clan poison Shisui with insects, limiting him to certain movements.
2. To Protect village Hidden In Leaf
Another reason Shisui chose suicide was because he wanted to protect his leaf Village. His clan believed that Shisui would sacrifice innocent lives for the Uchiha clan. This is why he wrote a suicide note, and then left his village to protect his leaf. Shisui had previously tried to protect his eye, but Danzo overpowered him and he lost his right eye. The traumatic experience caused Shisui to commit suicide.
Danzo’s manipulation of Shisui was a result of his desire to control Itachi. He believed that manipulating Shisui would never solve the conflict. He was so sure that Danzo would eventually try to manipulate Shisui that he took his eye. It was a mistake. Danzo’s motive was selfish, and he had no other choice. However, Danzo’s intentions were not entirely clear when Shisui killed himself.
3. Death was The Only Option
So far it was the only option considered logically, As Shisui was a logical person. He had the motive same as Itachi but he had known a lot about Danzo.
So, Why did itachi kill himself? Well In order to keep his mission going and letting Danzo off his tail for a while he committed suicide by hand of Itachi, So that his life doesn’t go in vain, and Itachi get power like Mangekyou Sharingan.
Who Was Shisui?
Shisui Uchiha was a descendant of Kagami Uchiha. His name combines the words Shi and Sui and means death water, still water, and stagnant water.
In the manga, Shisui wears a mangekyo pattern that is a pinwheel of spiralling curves. Danzo had also confronted him in the book Itachi Shinden: Book of Dark Night, but Shisui was not afraid to tell him when he was wrong.
The genjutsu that Shisui possessed allowed him to enter the minds of others. This enabled him to manipulate people into believing that they are free while acting against their will.
Motive And Aim Of Shisui:
Shisui believed that he could use this power to make the Uchiha clan abandon their coup d’etat. The powerful genjutsu was an excellent way to manipulate other people and make them stop acting against their will.
Itachi’s right eye and arm are not a coincidence. He is the strongest of the Uchiha, and is capable of using the Mangekyo Sharingan, as well as several other genjutsu. In fact, he could use up to ten Sharingan eyes. Despite his age, he was one of the strongest characters in the manga series. He was the youngest Hokage, despite having a low IQ.
