What Happened to King Von?
Chicago rapper King Von’s unexpected death has sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community. On November 6, in Atlanta, his entourage and another group clashed and began shooting each other; two off-duty police officers working security at Monaco Hookah Lounge responded and one responded by shooting King Von, but did not succeed in stopping further bloodshed.
Lil Durk had provided the young artist with invaluable mentorship as they honed their sound and style to find fame and success. Their collaboration resulted in songs like “Crazy Story” and “Took Her to the O Block,” where his storytelling ability shone bright.
A fatal shooting took place after an altercation between King Von’s entourage and Quando Rondo’s group escalated violently, leading to arrest of lesser-known rapper Lul Tim the day after. According to reports by TMZ, two individuals including King Von were shot.

Alongside his music career, he also spearheaded numerous efforts aimed at informing youth of the dangers associated with drug abuse; an interview with Million Dollar Worth of Game highlighted his stellar contributions in this industry.

King Von was found dead from gunshot wounds, according to autopsy results released today by pathologist Edmund Donoghue of Harvard Medical School. Donoghue noted that these fatal gunshots likely came from someone familiar with him; there were no indications of struggle between his death and their cause and clean wounds with no sign of struggle or violence visible around the site of impact.
